As a graduate at Altis, you will be part of a cohort of Junior Consultants focusing on Data Engineering, working on designing and building pipelines that allow for the collection of data from multiple sources, with the goal of enabling clients to derive valuable insights. Data engineers are valued for transforming data into usable form and Altis can provide you with the platform to learn the fundamentals of cloud computing, coding skills, and database design.

Now, let’s talk about the role. This is an exciting and hands-on graduate program over 24 months, providing you with a strong foundation in technical as well as soft skills. You will be working alongside our talented, pragmatic and collaborative Professional Services team, learning with hands on experience with the aim of having you feeling confident and ready for the next step upon completion.

Most of our team work on projects based on client site so you'll get hands on experience working closely with the end users of your solutions. Desired skills and experience:

• Hands-on software or application development experience
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Engineering
• Superb communication skills
• Foundation skills in SQL and relational databases
• Initiative and eager to try new approaches
• Ability to learn and use new technologies quickly & effectively
• Learns quickly when facing new problems, analysing both successes and failures for clues to improvements.
